Who It’s For

The wall where you want a fire has no chimney and no gas line—and if it’s a peninsula or a room divider, a fire that faces one direction disappears the moment you step to the side. You need a fire you can see from more than one seat. If you’re remodeling or building and want the fire visible from the kitchen, the couch, and the hallway at once—without venting or gas work—this is the one to look at. A standard single-view electric gives you a picture on one wall; the Trivista Primis shows the fire from the front, the left, and the right, or any combination you choose.

What Makes It Special

End panels come included, so the same unit installs three-sided, two-sided, or single-sided. Open both ends on a peninsula wall and the fire becomes a centerpiece you walk around; close one side and it wraps a corner instead. You decide how much of the fire the room sees.

Because it’s electric, there’s no venting to run and no gas line to trench—the Primis recesses fully into a framed wall. Hardwired at 240 volts it delivers twice the heat of a standard 120-volt connection, enough to hold the room it sits in on a cold evening—and the flames run with or without heat, so the fire still shows up on a warm night in July. The touchscreen panel wakes as your hand approaches, and the included remote runs everything—power, flame height, ember bed, and fan speed—from the couch.

Possible Downsides

• Full heat output requires a hardwired 240-volt connection; on a standard 120-volt circuit it delivers half the heat.
• It warms the room it’s in, not the house—and like any electric unit it needs power, so it won’t make heat during an outage the way a gas unit will.
• It’s a built-in—the unit recesses fully into a framed wall, so installation includes framing and finish work.

If you want a built-in fire you can see from three sides without running a gas line or a chimney, the Trivista Primis is the right decision. The room it’s in becomes the room the house lives in.

Set the look with the included northern woods log set and clear crystals—used together or separately—then choose from seven flame colors and thirteen ember bed and top light colors with cycle and fade effects.
