Who It’s For

You need a fire that’s as tall as it is wide. If you’re finishing a great room, a two-story living space, or a commercial lobby and you want the fire itself to carry the wall, the Napoleon Tall Linear Vector 74 is the one. A standard-height linear will still warm the room; this is the one people cross the room to look at.

What Makes It Special

The glass frames a fire more than six feet wide and over two feet tall, with flames that rise the way a wood fire’s do instead of running in a low band. Napoleon designed the taller flame without a matching jump in gas use, so the scale of the fire doesn’t come with a bigger fuel bill.

The firebox is lit from above and below: top lights wash the fire, and the ember bed glows in any color you can think of—set it from the included remote or the eFIRE app on your phone. Behind the flames, porcelain reflective panels mirror the fire so it reads deeper than it is.

Planning a TV or artwork on the same wall? The optional Dynamic Heat Control system redirects heat without a fan, keeping the wall above the fire cooler—and quieter, since nothing is blowing.
