Who It’s For

Some rooms were never getting a fireplace—no gas line nearby, no path for a chimney, no appetite for opening up the house. So the room stays the one without the fire, winter after winter. You need a fire that installs where the house says a fireplace can’t go. If you want flames in a bedroom, den, office, or finished basement, and you’d rather plug something in than start a construction project, the 26″ Cineview is the one. A gas unit will out-heat it, but it brings a gas line, venting, and permits along with it.

What Makes It Special

You don’t have to choose between logs and crystals at the store. The Cineview ships with the burnt oak log set and the black crystal media—both are in the box—plus three flame colors and seven ember bed colors, so tonight’s fire doesn’t have to look like last night’s. Orange flames over logs for a traditional evening, blue flames over crystals when the room calls for something modern.

The touchscreen panel and the included remote run every function—power, heat, flame, ember bed—so the flames can run without the heater on a summer night. When the room does need warmth, ECO mode holds it at half heat while using less energy, and BOOST runs the heater at full output with a faster fan. Expect comfort heat for approximately 150–250 square feet: a bedroom or den, with your furnace holding the baseline.

Installation is the quiet advantage. It needs no venting, and it plugs into a standard outlet or hardwires for a finished look. Optional trim kits let it dress up an existing masonry fireplace without rebuilding anything.

Possible Downsides

• It warms one room, not the house. Plan on comfort heat for a space around 150–250 square feet while central heat does the rest.
• No power means no flame and no heat. Like every electric fireplace, it sits out an outage.
• The trim kit made for converting old wood-burning fireplace boxes fits the 30″ model only. If that’s your project, look at the 30″ Cineview.

If you want a convincing fire in a room that was never getting a gas line or a chimney, the 26″ Cineview is the right decision. The room you used to walk past becomes the one everyone ends up in.

The Cineview comes with both the burnt oak log set and the black crystal media, three flame colors, and seven ember bed colors, and it takes an optional 5″ black finishing trim for a clean edge where it meets the wall.
