Montigo: Exemplar R620 Luxury See-Through
A power-vented linear fire that can go where a standard vent cannot.
Quick Facts
• Fuel: Natural gas or propane, by model.
• Controls: Remote on/off available.
Who It’s For
Two rooms that share a wall can share a fire. You need one that looks right from both sides. The Montigo Exemplar R620 See-Through is for a wall between two spaces where both should see the flame. Put a single-sided unit there and one room gets the fire while the other gets the back of a box.
What Makes It Special
Exemplar fireplaces are power-vented linear fireplaces with a contemporary burner over ice fireglass and a frameless window design, behind a micro mesh screen.
Power venting lets the fireplace go where a standard vent cannot reach, with wall, flush wall, or roof mount options. It is compatible with 24-volt home automation systems.
Possible Downsides
• The remote is an option. Montigo lists an on/off remote.
If you want one fire shared between two rooms, the Montigo Exemplar R620 See-Through is the right decision. The room you used to pass through becomes the one everyone settles into.
Choose speckled stones, driftwood, or glass media and the remote on/off.
