Who It’s For
Two rooms that share a wall can share a fire. You need one that looks right from both sides. The Montigo Distinction 36 See-Through is for a wall between two spaces where both should see the flame. Put a single-sided unit there and one room gets the fire while the other gets the back of a box.
What Makes It Special
Every Distinction comes standard with LED lighting, a fan kit, and a multi-function Proflame 2 remote, plus a non-intrusive micro mesh screen and black reflective glass panels around a concealed burner with ice fireglass.
Turn the flame down by up to 30 percent for gentler heat, and add Montigo’s Cool Wall Advantage kit for more heat control. Multicolor LED uplighting and a battery backup are standard.
Possible Downsides
• Propane takes a conversion kit.
If you want one fire shared between two rooms, the Montigo Distinction 36 See-Through is the right decision. The room you used to pass through becomes the one everyone settles into.
