What Makes It Special
A linear fire over decorative bronze glass, with hi/low standing-pilot or electronic control that keeps working during power failures; the Proflame II version adds a remote and LED lights.
It is approved for mobile homes, bedrooms, and bed-sitting rooms. Vent the chase and the wall above stays cooler for a TV or artwork, with lower mantel clearances (consult the installation manual).
Possible Downsides
• The fan kit is optional. Without it, the fireplace heats by radiance.
• The remote is optional on the standing-pilot version. The Proflame II electronic version includes one.
