Who It’s For

A big stove overheats a small room. You want real soapstone heat sized for a cabin or a cozy living space. The HearthStone Lincoln is made for that. Pick a stove sized wrong and you either chase a cold room or cook yourself out of it.

What Makes It Special

The Lincoln was designed to be simple to use, easy to maintain, and sized for small living spaces, in full soapstone and cast iron construction.

A square enameled cook plate on top warms things up and wipes clean, and the catalyst slides back to engage once the fire is hot, which helps you remember to engage it for a clean burn.

HearthStone’s TruHybrid system adds a third, catalytic stage to primary and secondary combustion, for a burn clean enough that a roaring fire shows no visible smoke from the chimney and that surpasses the 2020 federal clean-air standards. You can still burn high and hot or low and slow.

Possible Downsides

• It is a wood fire. You load it, tend it, and carry out the ash.
• It is a small-space stove. For more area, look at the Castleton or Heritage.

If you want steady, long-lasting wood heat, the HearthStone Lincoln is the right decision. On the coldest night, the house is warm and the fire is the reason.

Choose matte black or blue black enamel, and add the rear and side heat shields, outside air starter kit and increaser, stove-top thermometer, soapstone steamer, and gloves.
