Hargrove: Magnificent Inferno Series Wilderness Char 20" Outdoor Firepit Log Set (6-piece)
Wilderness Char logs that top off a gas fire pit and stack the way you want.
Quick Facts
• Heating Capacity: Designed for ambiance, not as a heat source.
• Material: Refractory ceramic logs.
• Fits: Fire pits 18- to 24-inch across.
Who It’s For
A gas fire pit with nothing but glass or rock can look unfinished next to a wood fire. You want the look of logs without hauling wood to the patio. The Hargrove Wilderness Char 20-inch stack is for the homeowner with a gas fire pit 18- to 24-inch in diameter who wants it to look like a campfire.
What Makes It Special
The Wilderness Char stack is a mix of bark and split texture, with char areas on the logs, made of refractory ceramic for outdoor gas fire pits.
The 20-inch stack is designed for 18- to 24-inch fire pits. Hargrove supplies a stacking diagram, but the logs can be stacked as you like.
Hargrove makes these stacks in several styles, so you can match the look to the yard.
Possible Downsides
• It is for ambiance, not heat. Think of it as the look of a campfire.
• The burner is separate. The logs sit on your fire pit burner.
• Outdoor warranty is shorter. Hargrove gives outdoor installations a one-year limited warranty.
If you want your fire pit to look like a real campfire, the Wilderness Char stack is the right decision. The patio gets a campfire you light with a switch.
Wilderness Char comes in 20-, 30-, and 50-inch stacks.
