Who It’s For

A furnace running all winter, or a room that never warms up, is a reason to heat with wood. You need a stove sized for your home. The Enerzone Solution 3.5 is for the space Enerzone rates at 1,000 to 2,700 square feet.

What Makes It Special

A very large non-catalytic stove with a slightly curved top, engraved side panels, and an arched iron door that leaves room to watch the flames. The pedestal, ash drawer with safety lid, and a variable-speed blower are included.

It is approved for mobile homes (with a fresh air intake kit) and alcove installations, with ceramic glass. Enerzone backs it with a limited lifetime warranty.

Possible Downsides

• It is a wood fire. You haul and store wood, clean ash, and sweep the chimney.
• Burn time and heating area vary. Enerzone notes that heating area and burn time vary with the home, chimney draft, climate, and fuel.

If you want to heat with wood, the Enerzone Solution 3.5 is the right decision. The stove becomes the warmest spot in the house.
