Who It’s For

A furnace running all winter, or a room that never warms up, is a reason to heat with wood. You need a stove sized for your home. The Enerzone Harmony 2.3 is for the space Enerzone rates at 500 to 2,100 square feet.

What Makes It Special

It has a look reminiscent of cast iron with the advantages of steel, with fluted Roman Doric columns and a black or brushed nickel door overlay, on smooth cast iron legs.

It is approved for mobile homes (with a fresh air intake kit) and alcove installations, with ceramic glass. Enerzone backs it with a limited lifetime warranty.

Possible Downsides

• It is a wood fire. You haul and store wood, clean ash, and sweep the chimney.
• Burn time and heating area vary. Enerzone notes that heating area and burn time vary with the home, chimney draft, climate, and fuel.

If you want to heat with wood, the Enerzone Harmony 2.3 is the right decision. The stove becomes the warmest spot in the house.

Choose the door overlay; add a molded refractory panel, the variable-speed blower, or a fresh air kit.
