What Makes It Special

Dimplex’s patented flame effect is layered, so the fire has depth—and every part of it is yours to adjust: 13 flame colors, seven ember-bed colors, three speeds, and three brightness settings. Turn it down to a slow amber glow for a quiet evening or run it bright and vivid for a full house. Because the flames work with or without heat, the fire earns its wall in July as much as in January.

When you do want warmth, the built-in heater covers up to 500 square feet on demand—set the temperature and let it do the rest. Run everything from the Glen Dimplex Connect app on your phone, the included remote, or touch controls tucked out of sight along the top edge. Installation goes either way: hang it on the included wall-mount brackets or recess it into a framed opening for a flush, built-in finish.

Possible Downsides

• Tumbled glass is the only included media; driftwood and split-log looks are optional add-on sets.
• No power, no fire—like any electric fireplace, it stops during an outage. If outage heat matters to you, look at a gas or wood unit.
